So far this pre-season we are 5-1. We are ready for the much anticipated start of the NFL season.

Here are our releases for Thursday's games.

It is time to get to the reason we have this site... FOOTBALL

St. Louis Rams/Kansas City Chiefs over 43

Both teams have gone over in their games the last two weeks. KC with totals of 42 and 73, Rams with totals of 42 and 52. Neither defense is strong, and both have plenty of offensive weapons to open the game.

Detroit Lions/Buffalo Bills over 40

The Lions have gone over in all three preseason games and the Bills in 2 of 3. The Lions have no defense and Bills have an excellent offense, while the "improved" Bills defense has been burned for 26 points per game this preseason, and the Lions have scored 25 points per game.

Oakland Raiders +3 over Dallas Cowboys

We just don't understand the Raiders this preseason, they are 0-3 and not looked good at all. So this is the week they must get the team firing on all cylinders. The Cowboys may be 2-1, but they just aren't that talented of a team.

Chicago Cubs (+130) over St. Louis Cardinals

Carlos Zambrano is pitching great right now, the Cubs have won 6 of his last 7 starts. In those starts he has given up 12 runs in 53 2/3 innings. On the mound for the Cards is Matt Morris, fresh off the DL. He is returning from a broken hand. If it isn't him, it will be one of their very shaky starters. List Zambrano.
